Course Learning Options

InterCare Training is now offering both Self-Paced and traditional ‘classroom’ based delivery modes to cater to a Student’s learning preferences.

The blended classroom model (existing) provides a structured environment with scheduled classes, ideal for those who benefit from regular interaction and support.

The self-paced online model offers flexibility, allowing learners to progress at their own speed, suitable for those balancing study with other commitments.

Self-Paced Online Learning

Delivery Mode:
Online only. Flexible, allowing learners to set their own pace. Maximum 18 months duration

Courses Available:
CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support

Locations:
Study from anywhere in Australia! Work Placement must be completed in VIC, SA or QLD.

Interaction:
Limited interaction; primarily through online forums and assessments.

Accountability:
Self-motivated; requires discipline to meet deadlines

Support:
Online support and resources. Support sessions can be arranged in 15 minute blocks

Practical Training:
Requires digital ability for practical components. Videos to be recorded and uploaded for assessing.

Work Placement:
Arranged by the Learner; InterCare provides Administrative support & Trainers/Assessors will still conduct WP visits. All WP will be pre-approved by InterCare.

Ideal For:
Independent learners who can manage their own time and study schedule

Blended ‘Classroom’ Learning Model

Delivery Mode:
Blended (Face-to-face or Zoom classes). Assessments online and fixed timetable with weekly classes (Day or Evening Classes)

Work Placements

Classroom-based students: We take care of everything for you. Thanks to our strong partnerships with respected aged care facilities across Adelaide, we’ll arrange a high-quality placement on your behalf. You’ll step straight into a hands-on learning environment without the stress of finding a placement yourself.

Self-paced learners: You’ll have the flexibility to arrange your own work placement, giving you choice and control over where you complete your practical experience. Once you’ve secured a placement, our Work Placement Team will review and approve it, making sure it meets all requirements and provides you with the best possible learning opportunities.

No matter which study option you choose, your placement will give you real-world experience, working directly with clients and learning from passionate, experienced professionals. With InterCare’s support, you’ll build confidence, gain practical skills, and graduate ready to make a difference in the aged care sector.
