“I spent 16 years in the northern hemisphere in the UK and US working for three large corporates. I was sponsored through engineering at university by ICI (now Orica here in Australia), then moved to the Gillette Franchise to learn about fast-moving consumer goods and, in particular, manufacturing and marketing. I went through the purchase of Gillette by Procter and Gamble, one of the world’s largest and most successful consumer companies headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. I later moved to Gatwick Airport, the UK’s second largest air portal to create a customer and commercial focus. In all three businesses I generated a reputation for double-digit annual growth. I moved to Australia in 2010 and wanted to explore my love of growth further. To do this, I found Lumo Energy, which was experiencing some heavy operational issues. As General Manager, I resolved these and then enabled growth by supporting and understanding the team, providing clear direction after concisely assessing all of the opportunities in that business environment. From this success, I then grew even smaller businesses Blue NRG and Sumo as CEO and Managing Director by a factor of two and a factor of four in one and three years. Always focusing on improved customer outcomes.”


Francis has a continuous improvement focus and has lead a number of focussed improvement projects that have resulted in rapid growth by resolving long standing problems and key solutions that improved operational efficiencies. Francis also has a High level of Leadership and Strategic vision focused on commercial and business results.
