Experience with InterCare Certificate IV in Disability

I had a really good all round experience studying the Certificate with InterCare. The course gave me knowledge and theory that I now use every day in my job. Without the information I acquired through the course I don’t know how I would be able to navigate through the day to day challenges that are an everyday part of my job. I have been able to feel confident every time I meet a new client because I have the foundational knowledge needed in order to assist them.

Being a part of an online group whilst studying was also a highlight of the journey with InterCare and the class was brilliantly facilitated by Darren Pearce. Darren was always encouraging us to be engaged in each session and asked us questions to help us think about how we would use the theory we had learnt practically. I always felt comfortable in the classes asking questions and sharing my ideas.

I really liked how InterCare provided us with the necessary resources and study material needed for each assessment. What was also great was the feedback provided by Darren at the end of each assessment regarding certain questions asked throughout.

Would highly recommend InterCare training to anyone wanting to make a start in the disability or aged care industry. It was a fantastic experience and I am very grateful to the whole of InterCare for providing me with the necessary skills to now work in the industry.
